Vincero Collective is a very interesting product development company. They have worked for many years to bring their client’s products from concept to reality. Now they are bringing their own products as a small-batch, customer-curated menswear company.
The Baron Leather Briefcase
The Baron is Vincero Collective’s leather briefcase and it looks really sharp. It currently comes in black, espresso, and cognac.
Construction
The Baron is made of full grain chrome tanned leather from Argentina. It weighs 4.8 lbs which means they aren’t skimping on the leather and it should be pretty durable. There are two main compartments, one (padded) for up to a 14 inch laptop and one main compartment for stuff. Both are closed by zippers and a main flap that is latched with magnets.
This briefcase has some interesting extras. The front slip pocket is RFID shielded which helps protects any RFID credit cards and IDs. It also has a special rear strap to slip over rolling luggage handles for travel.
Crowdfunding
The best part about this bag is the price. At $199 for the material and quality, it is a very compelling briefcase. They can do this because of their crowdfunding business model and what’s more this gives them the flexibility to change their design. If this briefcase is not quite what you are looking for you can pitch your improvement ideas to Vincero Labs. Maybe the next version will have your improvement
The only down side to their system is that you have to be patient and wait for your leather briefcase to be made. But they do back their bags with a 14/30 day return policy for cash and credit respectively and a two year warranty.
Conclusion
I am very interested in seeing what new things they design next. Check out what they have to offer at http://vincerocollective.com/.
