Ill come right out and say it. I don’t approve of giant logos on bags. I think they are tacky and I don’t need everyone to know how much I spent on a bag or who made it. This causes some difficulties as there are companies that make otherwise lovely bags, save for the giant logo. I am not interested in being a walking billboard for anyone. So what is a guy to do? Where can you get mens bags without logos
Mens Bags Without Logos
Fjällräven
Fjällräven makes beautiful bags. They are a little techy being made of fancy Vinylon F fabric but if you choose a normal color their bags work well for many occasions. Unfortunately their Kanken model has a giant logo on it. Their Kånken bag is otherwise quite nice. Should you buy one anyway and cut the patch off? Perhaps, or perhaps you should try one of these alternatives.
Alternative: Fjällräven Foldsack No.1
Consider their Fjallraven Foldsack No. 1. Fjällräven has a nice innocuous fox logo on this one. While not ”No” logo it is much more reasonable. It is a little more expensive but it is a little more robust.
I am quite fond of the ochre color but its a little flamboyant. The front pouch is supposed to be accessible with out undoing the flap but it looks tight. I will have to get a hold of one and try it.
Alternative: Herschel Supply Co. Heritage Backpack
The Herschel Supply Co. Heritage is another good alternative. It has a very Jansport feel
I love the sassy interior fabric and the laptop sleeve is always a welcome addition.
Frost River
Frost River makes a very pretty very rugged satchel. Made in the USA out of canvas leather and brass their essentials makes a wonderful every day carry bag. What more could you want in a bag? Perhaps not monopolizing the whole upper quadrant with a giant logo patch.
Alternative: Filson Original Briefcase

For men’s bags without logos do consider the Filson Original Briefcase. It is one of the most iconic canvas briefcases available. There are no logos on the exterior of this bag. It is all canvas, leather, and Pacific Northwest rugged design.
I quite like the dividers in this one and the storm flap. It is a great compromise between functional and fussy. The dividers are handy without being so specialized that they are single purpose. The storm flap is protective without getting in the way.
Alternative: Mission Workshop Waxed Canvas Messenger Bag
The Mission Workshop Waxed Canvas Messenger Bag is a lovely wax canvas messenger bag with no logo. It has a neat feature in that it can be closed roll top or traditional flap.
